High Voltages Technology

Electric field modeling. Dielectric properties of solid and liquid dielectrics. Electric shocks. HV test sources. High voltage measurement. Overvoltage and coordination of insulation in the electrical system. Laboratory measurement / testing / diagnostics of high voltage equipment. Diagnostic methods - measurement of partial discharges and measurement of electrical parameters by electronic bridge. HVDC.

Rules for evaluation and completion of the course

Coursework: max. 40 points (Numerical exercises  (homework) 10 points, Laboratories (laboratory protocol) 30 points).
Requirement for the credit: min. 20 points.
Final Examination: max. 60 points.
