Course detail
Programmable Logic Controllers
FSI-RPAAcad. year: 2023/2024
The course is focused on structure and parameters of programmable logic controllers, their configurations and possibility their programming. Programmable logic controllers are by one of the most often used items at present automation technique. We can tell that most of the control systems do not without programmable logic controllers. Part of the lectures will also deal with visualization systems for creating user interfaces of the controlled process. User interface issues are closely related to programmable logic controllers, and the vast majority of control applications include a user interface.

If a student misses the course, he/she can attend an alternative course to perform an appropriate experiment.
Aims
Students acquire graduation, of course, basic experience with works with programmable logic controllers. They are practically introduced with some types of programmable logic controllers and acquire a general survey about the next types. They will capable choose for concrete application suitable type of automata and make to him control program. In addition, students will be familiar with the issue of user interfaces and will be able to create simple visualizations.
