Learning outcomes of the course unit

Implementation in the chosen sport, creating a positive relationship to physical activities, mastering basic motor skills and improving coordination.

Prerequisites

Knowledge and skills at the secondary school level of the subject physical education.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods

Group lessons with an individual approach. An ideal accessory for all kinds of sports, especially for: aerobics, dance (freestyle, break dance, foramce, ...), free running, fitness, fitness training, athletics, etc.

COURSES - extension activity in cooperation with VSK VUT Brno

SPORTS REPRESENTATION - those interested in the school's sports representation in the system of university championships must contact the sports guarantor and can participate in joint training in advanced classes (P) or in specially focused recruitment classes at the beginning of the semester (V)

TOURNAMENTS AND EVENTS - Christmas games, Sports Day, etc. (suitable for compensation for missed classes)

Assesment methods and criteria linked to learning outcomes

Credit on the basis of active participation at lessons, ie regular attendance with records in the attendance list; 2 unexcused participations are allowed).

Course curriculum

Teaching is focused on the basic elements of gymnastic training, from the roll, through flips, to somersaults. Basic elements of all gymnastic equipment (men: free, jump, horizontal bar, parallel bars, rings, horse-width; women: free, jump, parallel bars, balance beam). Students will learn:
• Throw backwards: preparatory exercises, with help, without help, modified
• Horse (males): shear, shear vertically, jump
• Handrails (women), crossbar (men): slip, turn, turn backwards, turn ride, tilt, jump, subject jump
• Jump: roll forward
• Simple
Teaching takes place in a fully equipped gymnastic gym where there are: a large trampoline, trampoline belt, foam pit (ideal for practicing acrobatic elements, such as somersaults, somersaults, etc.), a sprung surface for practicing acrobatics, all gymnastic tools and aids (horizontal bar , circles, parallel bars, foam cubes, inclined platforms, etc.).

Specification of controlled education, way of implementation and compensation for absences

Regular attendance with registration in the attendance list, 2 unexcused absences are allowed, apologies orally for absences in advance directly in class or by email in advance, but no later than 24.0 hours after the date of class.
Compensation for missed and unexcused hours always in agreement with the teacher directly in the specialization or in specific hours at the Machina Fit Center. The compensation is recorded in the attendance sheet or the teacher issues a written confirmation if the attendance sheet is not available.
Other compensation options are in block classes, at CESA courses and sporting events (eg Christmas Games, Sports Day, one-off weekend educational events).

NOTICE TO STUDENTS registered for sports outside the BUT sports ground
Physical education classes, which take place at rented sports grounds (swimming pools, ice rink, Sokol Brno I.) are charged - students contribute to the rental of the sports ground.
Payment for these sports is made by transfer to the account, see. Payment instructions.
Contribution for gymnastic training: semester / 1 enrollment CZK 300 must be paid by 7.2.2020 for the 1st round of enrollment (or by 14 February for the 2nd round of enrollment).
Registrations of registered and unpaid classes will be canceled in accordance with the deadlines specified in the Time Structure of the CESA Academic Year.

Note: classes will start in the week from 17.2.2020
