History of Architecture 5

The course provides an overview of the development of architecture in Czech Republic and Central Europe since the turn of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. This overview presents the trends of development of Czech architecture in comparison with world developments, from the perspective of the creative architect, ie in the context of contemporary aesthetics, philosophy and technology and with an emphasis on the process of realisation from the first idea sketch to the detailed design.

Lectures presenting the development tendencies of Czech architecture in comparison with world progress from the point of view of a creative architect, i.e. in the context of contemporary aesthetics, philosophy and technology and with emphasis on the building process from the first sketch to the detail.
