Course detail

Digital Tools for Architects

FA-DTA-NEAcad. year: 2022/2023

Static analysis of digital models applied on selected tasks. Basic assembly of a structural model, analysis of internal forces, optimisation by genetic algorithms. Advanced methods such as force flow and BESO optimisation. Structural optimisation - topostructure. At the end of the course, students analyse their own and canonical projects. Students must submit a seminar work.
In the study programmes “Architecture and Urban Design” the course is part of the courses on tools.
