Fundamentals of Architectural Design
FA-ZANAcad. year: 2022/2023
Preparatory discipline for architectural design whose aim is to make acquainted with the spatial, material and formal aspects of a work of architecture and with the method of architectural conception. In this subject, a young architect can find himself from the very beginning in the atmosphere of professional creativity and competitiveness, and can gradually extend his knowledge and improve his skills in the subsequent studios of architectural design. The formed habits should in future naturally lead to the architect's fundamental need to search not only for one, but for the optimum solution, resulting from the comparison of alternative approaches to the architectural assignment in its whole philosophic, functional, technical and economic complexity.
