Modelling in 3D

Working in 3D space: managing views and visual styles, working with viewports and coordinate systems.
Using of drawing and modifying commands in space.
3D modelling – basic solids, solids and surfaces generated by curves, surfaces derived from surfaces, meshes.
Modifying 3D objects.
Photorealistic displaying: materials, lights, shadows, scenes, rendering.

Knowledge gained simultaneously in other courses is not necessary.
Planned learning activities and teaching methods
The course is taught through lectures, practical classes and self-study assignments. Attendance at lectures is optional, but attendance at classes is compulsory.
Assesment methods and criteria linked to learning outcomes
Condition of adequate attendance (max two absences). Final individual model with vizualization, presentation and simple documentation.
