Art Techniques – Drawing 2

The course of drawing develops the advanced drawing skills towards an independent and free depiction of complex spatial situation from imagination or some materials. It develops the imagination and ability to depict an image convincingly in perspective, depicting complex forms and details in the spatial context, mirroring, lighting. The course includes work with colours in drawing. The course of drawing is complemented by a combination of drawing and technical drawing. It gives practise in drawing techniques and some techniques of finalizing the drawing. The course is divided into three blocks: Drawing from observed space, drawing from image and schema, final work. The integral part of the course is home preparation, visits to exhibitions and study of sources.
In the study programmes “Architecture and Urban Design” the course is part of the courses on tools.
