History of Design

The subject is based on an individual study of design history by particular domains (crafts - arts and crafts - applied art, environmental design - urbanism, scenery design, architecture, garden architecture, exhibition design, interiors, stage design, visual communications design, product design and industrial design) from the origin of crafts, applied arts up to present times. The subject features an actual state of design, contemporary trends and personalities. This subject follows up to history of visual art and design on the magister study of Industrial design.
