The aim of this cours is to acquaint students with selected issues of business relations with the international element, legal regulation of international business transactions, dispute resolution, competition regulation, business corporation law and consumer protection.

Learning outcomes of the course unit

Students will be made familiar with business relations with an international element, they will acquire appropriate terminology and will be able to work with international contracts.

Prerequisites

Students are expected to have general knowledge of law at university bachelor school level.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods

Teaching takes the form of two-hour lectures. The lecture includes a presentation of the basic concepts and principles and illustrative examples.

Assesment methods and criteria linked to learning outcomes

A course-unit credit is not awarded for this course.
The exam has a written form. It is a test with questions. The classification of this module is in accordance with the rules of the Faculty of Business and Management.

Úvod do mezinárodního práva obchodního.
Mezinárodní prvky v obchodních vztazích, právní regulace v oblasti mezinárodního obchodního styku
Řešení sporů a vymáhání rozhodnutí v mezinárodním obchodním styku.
Právnické osoby, přesun sídla, evropská společnost, evropské hospodářské zájmové sdružení.
Mezinárodní koupě zboží.
INCOTERMS a jejich význam v mezinárodním obchodu.
Platby a úhrada závazku v mezinárodním obchodě. Dokumentární způsoby placení. Zajištění plateb.
Investiční právo. Ochrana investora proti znárodnění a vyvlastnění.
Právo duševního vlastnictví a Mezinárodní licenční smlouva
Vliv elektronizace a internetu na oblast mezinárodního obchodního práva. Ochrana spotřebitele v mezinárodním obchodu.
Mezinárodní přepravní smlouva
Ochrana hospodářské soutěže
