Course detail

Advanced Materials Technolgies and Applications

FCH-DCO_PMTAcad. year: 2019/2020

This course is an overview of the properties and possible applications of advanced molecular materials in the current technical and industrial practice areas including nanotechnology. In addition to standard molecular materials (polymers, low molecular compounds), attention is focused mainly on new molecular structures, such as carbon nanostructures, dendrimers, magnetic, and other molecules. During the course, they are gradually discussed the properties of the individual materials preparation technology of nanomaterials and nanostructures, methods of characterization at the molecular level and application possibilities.
