Municipal and Industrial Power Networks

This subject makes the students familiar with some problems of the design and operation of the industrial networks, which concern an electrical protection and the solution of some faults and transient phenomena.

Learning outcomes of the course unit

Calculation of protection setting, solution of transient phenomena - overvolage, the starting of group of drivers.


The subject knowledge on the Bachelor´s degree level is requested.

To make the students familiar with the design and operation of the city and industrial networks with electrical protection calculation and setting in focus.
