Studio IV - Painting 1 - winter

Students focus on the realization part of their BA exam. They search for the most suitable topics and for the way of its creation with respect to its future presentation.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods

Teaching takes place in the form of group and individual consultations of the teacher with the students over the assigned semestral tasks. Teaching includes lectures and workshops on semester (theme) topics provided by external lecturers. During the semester students take part in at least one excursion to foreign museums and galleries. Once every two semesters, a painter's stay (plenary) takes place.

Semester exam project.

Course curriculum

An essential part of the work should be the everyday drawing reflection of various visual and mental stimuli - everydayness, meeting things, situations, social tensions. Drawing as a record and revelation of the essence of various phenomenons, artistic principles (such as composition etc).
