Basics of Anatomy and Histology

Foundations of anatomy are composed as a major morphological field of study with clinical notes for all types of Bachelor study, some chapters offer more detailed explanation – e.g. the locomotory system for physiotherapeuts, digestive system for the specialisation Nutrition,etc. Selected anatomical and clinical aids are demonstrated.
Foundations of histology provide an overview of the microscopic and submicroscopic structure of cells, tissue and organs. The knowledge of these issues is essential for understanding of the fundamental control mechanisms in human organism and for understanding of the functions of individual organs.

Course curriculum
2. The basic description of the individual organs.
3. The basic description of the systems of the human body - skeletal, muscular and articular, respiratory, endocrine, gastrointestinal, cardiovascular, urogenital, nervous and sensory system.
4. Explanation of the basic physiological and clinical links.
5. Fundamentals of human cytology, tissue types.
6. A brief overview of hostological structure of the most important organs.
