Learning outcomes of the course unit

Analyze the case study of technologies transfer.
Demonstrate the knowledge in the intellectual property law in Czech republic.

Good language skills.
Basic knowledge in the Czech law.

Teaching methods depend on the type of course unit as specified in the article 7 of BUT Rules for Studies and Examinations.

Assesment methods and criteria linked to learning outcomes

The assessment is based on written examination. Criteria will be defined at the beginning of the course.

3. Úvod do práva duševního vlastnictví.
4. Druhy práv duševního vlastnictví.
5.-6. Ochrana a prosaditelnost práv duševního vlastnictví.
7.-8. Práva průmyslová.
9.-10. Práva autorská.
11. Právo duševního vlastnictví v podniku a jeho ochrana.
12.-13. Transfer technologií.

Aims

a) To provide students a knowledge and understanding the czech intellectual property law including its international and communitarian framework and methods of the intellectual property rights enforcement.
b) To distinguish rights and basic elements of the protected objects; to understand the legal disposition with the protected objects.
c) To understand principles and methods of the technologies transfer.

Specification of controlled education, way of implementation and compensation for absences

Regular attendance and active participation in lectures are recommended.
