Achieving knowledge of the term of management. Core of the topic is structure of management according to the functions. Detailed explanation of individual functions: Planning, organizing, motivating, leadership and control.

Assesment methods and criteria linked to learning outcomes
1) max. 20 points => solving questions from 2 (PS) case studies (optional task) - for solving PS the student gets 10 points, if he does not solve, he gets 0 points. PS are solved on the 1st and 6th exercises.
2) max. 20 points => Presentation (PT) Presentation topic (compulsory task) - The student is enrolled at the latest by the end of the week following the week in which the 1st seminar took place on one of the 8 PTs at the teacher's list. PT will be presented on 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th exercises. The PT rating is up to 20 points with respect to originality, time keeping, presentation and disclosure.
3) max. 20 points => preparation (SP) of the semester project (compulsory task) - the assignment of SP will be announced first at the 2nd exercise. The deadline for submitting emails is by the end of the week when the 5th exercise is in progress. The SP rating is max. 20 points according to the assignment. In case of postponement, the student is penalized with -5 points.
4) max. 40 points => Writing (ZT) of the knowledge test (compulsory task) or (NPP) of a written project (optional conditional assignment) - ZT will be written on the 6th exercise. ZT takes 10 minutes, contains 10 answer questions, where the one answer is correct. For the correct answer, you can get 4 points for bad or unanswered 0 points. In the event that the student does not obtain from ZT and after completing the compulsory tasks, the sum total is min. 60 points, has the right to repeat ZT on the 7th exercise, the result of the ZT is not counted in the evaluation. If the student fails to repeat the ZT and fulfill the required tasks in the sum of min. 60 points, he / she can ask the teacher to enter the NPP. The subject of the NPP, the range of 15-30 pages and the deadline for submission is determined by the teacher, with the deadline for submission not earlier than 7 calendar days after the assignment (but no later than the end of the 4th week of the semester test period). The NPP teacher will evaluate and award up to 40 points in the overall assessment within 3 working days after submission and the evaluation of the two ZTs will not be counted.
Examination requirements: Knowledge of the subject matter and its practical application.
Written exam form, closed questions with a rating of 1 or minus 0.5 points, open questions with a score of 0 to 3 points. The minimum number of test points is 50%.
The exam is classified according to the ECTS scale.

The contents of the exercises is to practice recited around topics, processing and presentation of seminary work and case studies (individually and as a group).

Attendance at lectures and exercises is not obligatory but recommended. The activity demonstrates the performance of the tasks for which the points are scored in the exercises. To get a credit, 70 out of 100 possible points are required.
