Course detail

Computer Science in High Power Engineering

FEKT-BISEAcad. year: 2018/2019

The course focuses on using the latest software to help designers nowadays to solve the problem in the design and optimization of electric machines and devices. Specifically, it is focused on creating structural 3D models and drawings in Autodesk Inventor. In the second part, the course focuses on establishing and solving differential equations in MATLAB Simulink. The actual equations are compiled on the basis of electrical circuits containing basic R, L and C members.

Learning outcomes of the course unit

Students can:
- Create a 3D model of components of electrical machinery and apparatus in Autodesk Inventor
- Create a report of the whole machine of the individual components in Autodesk Inventor
- Create drawings in Autodesk Inventor (Views and dimension)
- To establish the equation of currents and voltages for jednolivé circuits containing R (resistance), L (coil), C (capacitor) components
- The equations to create blkové scheme in MATLAB Simlink
- Set solver MATLAB Simulink
- See the results and adjust the display
- Evaluate the results of the circuit

Knowledge is required in the compilation of voltage and current equations of electric circuits and basic knowledge of drawings.
