Learning outcomes of the course unit

In the summer semester of the second year of master's degree students evaluate past experience in the Master's Thesis. Combination of practical and theoretical knowledge and skills.

Prerequisites

Work on Master project. Interest in spiritual approach to photography.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods

Make connections between art and real life. Presentations, individual consultations and discussions. Critical approach to contemporary arts.

Assesment methods and criteria linked to learning outcomes

A credit is awarded on the basis of attendance and active participation on diploma thesis consultations.

Course curriculum

Students are working on a thesis. They must regularly consult with external consultants, head of the studio and the opponent. The greatest emphasis is put on the students' ability to reflect on their own artistic activities and orientation of the contemporary art scene.
Mandatory studio meetings, individual consultations and discussions about students' major work. The studio visits by authorities from the art word.

Specification of controlled education, way of implementation and compensation for absences

Obligatory consulting of the bachelor thesis. Participation on the studio meetings at least 50%.
