- Student learns terminology in Czech and English language.
- Student learns to participate and manage on the project as a member of big team.
- Student learns to document, present and defend the results of the small project.

- Basic knowledge of the software engineering methods.
- Knowledge of higher mathematics.

- Syllabus of lectures:
- Introduction. Basic terms. The project management framework.
- Using principles of process approach to project management.
- The project management knowledge areas.
- Project definition process.
- Project planning processes.
- Project organization processes.
- Project execute processes.
- Project control processes.
- Project closure process.
- Principles of process improvement.
- Methods and progress in project management. Critical chain scheduling.
- Norms and the current standards in project and process management.
- Project management software support.
- Introduction to MS Project software.
- Estimate costs, determine budget and control costs of project.
- Team project plan developing in MS Project software.
- Students will work in teams (up to 10 students per team) will analyze a real-life problem and implement a solution as a managed project.
- Students keep record of process metrics. Milestones are continuously checked.
