Learning outcomes of the course unit

Mastering of standard language knowledge based on reading and listening. Being able to communicate in everyday situations, present,results, give explanation, inform about future plans and intentions, ask for information. Being able to understand and analyze professional texts (reading. comprehension, presentation).

Prerequisites

The subject knowledge on the pre-intermediate level is required.

Teaching methods include language seminars and homework. Students have to actively participate in classes.

Course curriculum

Introducing;grammar revision;German in the world. Subordinate clauses with WEIL,comparison. Family,holidays,dative of nouns and adjectives. Travelling,modal verb SOLLEN
Leisure time,indefinite pronouns,verb phrases. Town and countryside,prepositions of time. Cultural life,past tense,indefinite pronouns. Occupations,CV,sentences with WENN,future,indirect speech
Holidays and celebrations. Products and identity,passive voice.

The course is focused on general German and partially on professional language.
