Bank Products And Services

The course concentrates on the principles and technologies of products and services offered to bank clients in retail banking. The viewpoint of a client as the product user is emphasized. If needed, legislation- and regulation-related conditions are presented defining the parameters of the products and services offered by banks. After completing the course, the students are oriented towards bank offers and their use. They are also prepared for understanding the follow-up course, „Banking II“ – banking business“
The course is also suitable for students of the management informatics field.

Exercises promote the practical mastery of subject presented in lectures or assigned for individual study with the active participation of students.

Result orientation knowledge test is only a complementary view of the knowledge level of student.

2. Banking products. Structure of banking products by the balance and by the function.
3. Deposit products of commercial banks.
4. Long-term savings accounts. (alternative saving)
5. Transactions related to bills of exchange and cheques.
6. Loan products of commercial banks.
7. Mortgage and building savings account loans.
8. Basic forms of documentary payments.
9. Payment transaction as a banking product.
10. Domestic and foreign bank transfers.
11. Alternative distribution channels.
12. Foreign exchange transaction products.
13. Banking financial credit trading.

Aims
Students should be capable of analyzing the advantages and disadvantages of client services and understanding the parameters and conditions of their provision.
