Reliability of structures

The course is aimed at: explaining the background of reliability standards for the design (Eurocodes), structural resistance and load as two independent variables, and limit states design philosophy of the standards, the theoretical probability of failure, reliability condition, provision, reliability index, numerical simulation methods Monte Carlo, Latin Hypercube Sampling, Sampling importing, approximation methods (FORM), statistical methods, sensitivity analysis and probabilistic analysis. Reliability software. Formulation and evaluation of risk analysis systems and structures in terms of reliability theory.
