Course detail
FSI-WPPAcad. year: 1999/2000
The subject is taught for material engineering students. Mainly, mathematical methods applied in metallurgy and melt control are under focus. Students will learn computational techniques used in practice. This methods are further discussed in the context of linear algbera methods (matrix-based transformations). The mathematical model of charge is motivated by the anaylisis of real-world data. The needed theoretical background is represented by linear programming blending problems. Step by step, the basic two-stage scenario-based melt control model is developed in collaboration with students. For computations, melt report-based data is utilized.
