Course detail
Detail in Architecture II.
FAST-AG28Acad. year: 2015/2016
The detail determines not only the expression and the material, the technological and structural connections but also economy of the whole building. Its quality and sophisticated execution is a feature from which the whole is built up and thus it becomes an important item in the process of designing. As compared with the preceding semester, this semester is concerned with the practical verification by one´s own creation. The subject leads a student to ingeniousness and craftiness, free from a mere technical calculation read from books, to pragmatism and experiment and to a shift from a mere feasibility to perfection.
