Assesment methods and criteria linked to learning outcomes

Students get points from computer labs, individual homeworks, and tests. For the accreditation, it is necessary to actively participate in at least 75 % of computer labs and, at the same time, get at least 50 points.

Plagiarsm as well as non-permitted cooperation within computer labs and homeworks or cheating during tests will cause that involved students are not classified and disciplinary action may be initiated.

    Aims

    This course introduces students into principles of IBM zSeries servers and their maintenance. Students will learn general principles as well as exercise monitoring and maintaining of common applications running on zSeries servers.

    Specification of controlled education, way of implementation and compensation for absences

    No attadance on lectures is monitored. Attendance in computer labs is recorded. Dutiful attendance in at least 75 % of computer labs is necessary for accreditation.
