Course detail

CAD Systems

FSI-RS2Acad. year: 2015/2016

The course deepens students’ knowledge of modern technology and modern methods used in the development and design of a product. Work methods used in a mainstream CAD systems are explained.
Importance is placed on understanding each stage of the 3D model production. This course acquaints students with modern prototype product technologies as rapid prototyping. Next, reverse engineering methods are described. Information about RE is aimed at technical principles, principles of space data obtained, and methods of data processing.
The course has been upgraded with the support of the OPVK project. "The Studio digital sculpture and new media project", reg. No. CZ.1.07/2.2.00/28.0278, is co-financed by the European Social Fund and the statebudget of the Czech Republic.
