Learning outcomes of the course unit
Students understand standard theories of traffic flo and processes in traffic flow. They get familiarized with modelling techniques and with basic phenomena in traffic flow. They gain knowledge of new telematic technologies and their objectives.
Prerequisites
Co-requisites
Microsoft Visual Basic programming
CU51 Algorithmization and programming:
Advanced computer applications - algorithms of computer graphics; algorithms of number theory; principles of cryptography, implementation of basic cryptographic algorithms; database applications; basic principles of artificial intelligence
Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Lessons are the basic form of education and they provide explanation and theoretical base for studied issue. Practical examples are solved in exercises. Texts, writtten materials, standards, manuals, instructions etc. are provided in LMS Moodle as well as and homework exercises are submitted in Moodle. This course includes excursions to Brno traffic control centre and to i
Assesment methods and criteria linked to learning outcomes
Evaluation of examination is based on test in written form with fourty five questions and on results of work during all semester.
