Course detail
Detail in Architecture I.
FAST-AG27Acad. year: 2014/2015
At the factual study of details of particular buildings the students will acquaint themselves with the theoretical thinking of an architect – creator who, trying to find a way into the secrets of a technical detail and examine its alternatives, has to become a design engineer and acquire the knack of a number of crafts.
The aim is to produce a coherent final work - a detail showing both structural logic together with elementary crafts skills and permanent respect for the environment.
