Project Management of Commission

In the subject students take up with the history and present of project management oriented on projects connected with construction process. Till this time acquired knowledge is inserted into scheme of the project management and to particular phases of lifecycle of the project, preparation and realization of construction. Part of the subject is created by construction management models, construction and technological preparation and construction processes management. Attention is focused on flow method and with it connected balancing and jointing of particular flows. Students meet software for planning and management of projects. Part of the education it is an area of risks in the construction process, project controlling, quality assurance, assurance of safety, health and environmental protection. The end of the subject is connected with statutory negotiation and documentation in construction process.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
PowerPoint presentation is prepared at every lecture by lecturer. Basic depiction ideas are developed further orally. Discussed theory is by options completed by brief examples, diagrams, pictures or graphs. Partial block of teaching is at the end of a brief summary and control questions verify its understanding. At the end of the lecture, students are invited to discuss.
Assesment methods and criteria linked to learning outcomes
Credit is given after completion of all obligations, i.e. attendance, submission of partial assignments and successfully passed credit written work.
The exam consists of written and oral part. Attendance at the test is conditioned by awarded credit. The written test consists of five questions. After a positive evaluation an oral examination follows with the debate over the three issues, which are selected from previously known list.

7. Project controlling, analysis of achieved value of outputs and project costs development
8. Risks and changes management, risks engineering, risks in construction, project risks management. Conception, assurance and control of quality
9. Statutory negotiation in the process of preparation and realization of constructions, documentation in construction projects
10. Environmental protection, assurance and liquidation of wastes, recycling, safety and health protection in construction process

3. Processing flowchart of construction project
4. Structural plan of the construction project and its cost valuation, 1st task – processing of structural plan processing of particular building
5. Continuation of work on the 1st task
6. Organization of construction project, 2nd task – processing of organigram and functional diagram of particular building
7. Timetable, 3rd task – processing and analysis of well arranged schedule of particular building for gross phases of planning and realization, updating and modification of this schedule
8. 3rd task - processing of costs plan, deployment plan of factual resources and financial plan
9. Credit test
10. Submission of all processed documents in an envelope. Credit
