Monitoring and Data Analysis in Motorsport

The course "Monitoring and data analysis in motorsports" familiarises students with the procedures and methods used for experimental solution of tasks given in the field of motorsport. It explains basic methods of measuring mechanical quantities and defines the structure of the measuring and control chain. The course deals with the analysis of analog and digital signals in the time and the frequency domain too. A part of the course is also devoted to the measurement of kinematic quantities, forces, torques, pressure and noise. It defines the basic concepts and categories of safety and technical diagnostics.
