Institute of Building Services (TZB)

Students get basic knowledges about problems of design of building services. Linkage between construction system of building and systems of building services will be clarify during course. Next students get overview with facilities for design of water distribution, sewerage system and gas pipeline. Students obtain fundaments about design of heat sources and indoor climate creation.

Basic knowledge about constructional systems of buildings, fundamentals of hydromechanics, fundamentals of heat transfer.

Teaching methods depend on the type of course unit as specified in the article 7 of BUT Rules for Studies and Examinations. Teaching runs in the forms of lectures and class exercises. Character of the lectures is based on definition of basic principles and problems. In the trainings the main subject matters are trained on individually defined projects.

Attendance in according to BUT Rules for Studies and Examinations is required. Another condition is the development of the given examples and drawings.
