Experimental Methods

The course Experimental Methods is based on the knowledge gained in the courses listed in the section "prerequisities". It develops the fundamental measuring theories towards the knowledge of special measuring plant and towards the knowledge necessary for the taking of competent measurements and tests of building, preparation and agricultural machines (BPAM) as well as of transport and handling equipment (THE). Measuring chain, sensors and converters used in the tests of above mentioned machines and equipments. Determination of uniaxial and plane state of stress of spacious BPAM and THE structures. Experimental work in the BPAM and THE branch. Measuring of noise, vibrations and other unfavourable effects rising at the machines operation. Design and construction of single-purpose measuring elements. Measuring of the THE and BPAM parameters.
