Diploma thesis seminar

The course focuses on the preparation and processing of the thesis. It focuses mostly at individual instruction, which will have a direct link to the studied specialization of diplomat (concrete constructions, metal structures, reliability of structures (structural mechanics and modelling supporting structures), diagnostic of structures, geotechnical structures).
In teaching, computer technology will be used, especially to build numerical models. Practical part - when necessary - will continue to explore specific structure - to define a way of failure, to determine the critical points.

Students will receive specialized and professional knowledge and skills necessary for solving complex practical problems of risk engineering with an emphasis on the risks associated with the design and operation of buildings.

Teaching is carried out through seminars that particularly support practical mastery of subject matter presented in lectures or assigned for individual study with the active participation of students.
