Learning outcomes of the course unit
Students will be made familiar with general vocabulary for the workplace, as well as grammar structures for everyday communication at B1 level (intermediate).
Prerequisites
Course is intended for students who are familiar with the language at pre-intermediate level.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
The course it taught by means of language lessons focused on practicing language skills and developing vocabulary. It includes also individual work of students in the elearning environment.
Assesment methods and criteria linked to learning outcomes
Course-unit credit is awarded on condition of having attended the seminars actively, worked out assigned tasks and passed a credit test. The credit test has one regular term and two resits.

3. U1 Introductions, greetings. Welcoming a visitor.
4. U2 New companies. Past Simple and Present Perfect Simple. Used to.

7. U3 Word languages. Comparative and superlative adjectives.
8. U3 Relative clauses. Adjectives file. Personal attitudes and qualities.

Aims
The course is intended to teach English as a foreign language at general level. Students learn basic grammar and lexical structures at B1 level (intermediate) necessary for everyday communication.
Specification of controlled education, way of implementation and compensation for absences
Attendance at seminars is systematically checked by the teacher, as well as students' systematic work. Absence may be in justified cases compensated for by the agreement with the teacher.
