Synoptic view of the contemporary development in the coutryside. Knowledge needed for designing agricultural buildings (typology of agricultural buildings and their wider relationships).

Basic knowledge of building design, knowledge of structural design.

Students design their own small building with a simple spatial typologies master page and shape the nature of architectural design, methods of care and heritage protection, the development of knowledge of the design of steel and timber structures and static behavior. All in the context of the history and development of the field.

Teaching methods depend on the type of course unit as specified in the article 7 of BUT Rules for Studies and Examinations.

Written exam in test. The condition of the test is to obtain credit from exercise (preparation of text and graphic elaboration according to a set of reference).

The aim is to gain the knowledge needed for architectural design of agricultural buildings, respecting the protection of the environment and the landscape.

Attendance of lectures is not obligatory, the attendance at tutorials results from the duty to consult the assignment.

The course is recommended for both lectures of visiting teachers, practicing architects, both tied workshops on the subject.
