Course detail

Reliability and theory of material violations

ÚSI-2BDSMAcad. year: 2012/2013

The course deals with methods for the quantification of risks. Continuation of Reliability of structures - is focused on analysis and modeling of structures made of quasibrittle violation of materials (concrete). Interpretation is first conceived at the level of deterministic, then proceeds to a stochastic approach to the problem. The course software is used partly nonlinear fracture mechanics and software ATENA SARA (stochastic fracture mechanics).
