Foreign Language 1 (Spanish)

This new communicative course - Spanish for Beginners - will offer practising pronunciation, basic grammar, conversation in everyday situations, reading and listening. Original Spanish textbooks, audio- and videocourses will be used in classes.

Learning outcomes of the course unit

The student gets knowledge of basic Spanish grammar, he/she is able to use basic vocabulary and communicate Spanish in everyday life.
The student is able to understand simple written texts with use of dictionary.

Teaching methods depend on the type of course unit as specified in Article 7 of BUT Rules for Studies and Examinations.

Assesment methods and criteria linked to learning outcomes

For successful completion of the course the students are required: 75% attendance and active participation at classes, fulfilment of assignments given by the teacher and a classified credit unit.
