Listening and Interpreting Skills

FEKT-HLISAcad. year: 2012/2013

An active language course combining different approaches to support effective listening and verbal communication management. Based on an analysis of the students´needs, various functional techniques will be applied to model a large scale of everyday listening and speaking situations. This real-life element is further underlined by the prominence given to the subject of English accents and dialects. Importantly, the above-stated practical features are tightly connected with yet another vital aspect of the course, namely the development or enhancement of competence in diverse forms of interpreting and vocabulary practice.
