Diploma Thesis

An individual technical diploma work of the student chosen from the tenders offered at the MEL department. The subject matter of the work is defined early in the winter semester of the current academic year and it can be taken as a continuation of the master technical projekt 2 from the previous academic year.

Learning outcomes of the course unit
- Is able to work actively with the recommended literature, including a good orientation in foreign literary sources
Is able to deal with individual technical work on the selected (specified) topics, including the preparation of a literature review on progress in the study subject, a list of potential solutions and ways to select the optimal, both in terms of technical solutions, and in terms of economic.
- Able to design and build automated measuring stations, implement experiment and its results graphically and statistically proces
- Is able, at the level of knowledge acquired in primary education, design electrical device, creating corresponding drawings, these devices implement and verify its functionality.
- Is able to choose the optimal programming environment and language and to develop a software application for the simulation of selected physical phenomena and dependencies
- manage, using computer technology, clearly and concisely write the final technical report (document) to the presentation and graphic design for good (adequate) level, respecting the relevant technical standards.
The student solves a special problem as an individual diploma work which theme is chosen from the tenders offered at the branche department.
