Summer Course 2
FP-Tlk2PAcad. year: 2012/2013
Students will learn to understand the issues involved in the planning and organization of courses and stays in the countryside; they will master cooperation in a small and medium-sized group. The subject is based on a stay in the countryside and selected outdoor activities, including suitable equipment for them, as well as on the legal aspects of outdoor disciplines and on gaining skills for life outside civilization.

Course curriculum
- History of disciplines.
- Vocabulary of terms - nomenclature, terminology.
- Equipment for outdoor sports.
- Methodology, technique, training - basics, how to start.
- Age specifics. Sports classification, competitions.
- Safety, injuries and sports hygiene.
- Organization of events, courses, training stays.
- Basic technique - windsurfing, in-line skating, climbing on secured trails, mountaineering, climbing on artificial walls, free climbing.
