Building Services I and Technical Infrastructure

Standard designs of sanitary and storm water drainage systems, water supply systems, gas and electric installations having in mind layout and construction of buildings. Design of service pipes for these installations. Basic concepts, division and history of water supply, sewerage and communication systems outside of buildings.

Course curriculum
2.-3.Hygienic facilities design, piping installations placing.
4.-5. Sanitary drainage systems and storm water drainage systems.
6.-7.Water supply distributing system, hydraulics as applied to water supply systems and pipes sizing. Hot water supply systems. Equipment for fire-water supply.
8.-9. General principles of natural gas supplies, gas installation for buildings and gas service pipes.
10.-12. Electrical equipments - internal heavy-current distribution, service connections, lightning conductor design, lighting engineering and methods of calculation.
13. Water supply, sewerage and communication systems outside buildings.
