The subject is the understanding of the relationship building and its interior from concept to realization detail. Students will learn how to draw a simple design manual, including the budget and the specifications of individual items. Acquainted with the specifics of the proposal atypical elements of wood, metal, fiberglass, stone, etc. They develop a criteria for selection of surface treatments, green, and accessories with respect to appearance, performance characteristics and price.

Teaching methods depend on the type of course unit as specified in the article 7 of BUT Rules for Studies and Examinations.

Assesment methods and criteria linked to learning outcomes

KLZ Condition for participation in lectures and seminars and the submission file a 6-exercise - a simple design guide (book A3), a list of typical and atypical features, and budget.

Course curriculum

In the beginning students are given a specified area (degree of difficulty according to grade). The content of this exercise will be addressing the concept of a specific service (bar, studio, school, chapel ...). The result is furniture design, lighting, material design, graphics arranged in a single portfolio, as it corresponded to a similar task in practice.

Aims

Understanding the inseparability of "exterior" and "interior.. Introduction to principles of design and realization of interiors. The work of space, light and color, working with materials, surfaces, furniture, plants indoors, working with graphic designers, policy coordination of the interior, choice of suppliers, budget.

Specification of controlled education, way of implementation and compensation for absences

The course consists of 2 hours per week. 1 hour is always supplemented by video projections, lectures, three seminars are attended by a graphic designer or lighting specialist. decorator, masons, etc. The exercises are given and then consulted on the specific task of solving the internal space, following the lecture.
