Czech Language - Conversation 1

The course Czech - conversation (1CK) is prepared as an introductory conversational course of Czech language for foreigners. It is offered to international students who want to acquaint themselves with the basics of Czech language and acquire elementary communication skills needed for basic conversational purposes.
Learning outcomes of the course unit
Students will be made familiar with the specific features of Czech pronunciation and will be able to use elementary grammar and vocabulary for simple communication.
The course is intended for beginners.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Teaching methods depend on the type of course unit as specified in the article 7 of BUT Rules for Studies and Examinations.
Assesment methods and criteria linked to learning outcomes
Students' work is systematically checked by the teacher. The course is concluded with final revision.
Language of instruction
The aim of the course is to make international students familiar with the basics of Czech language needed for elementary communication focusing on basic conversational needs.
Specification of controlled education, way of implementation and compensation for absences
Students are requested to attend the seminars actively and work out all assigned tasks.
