Microwave Integrated Techniques

Integrated techniques in microwave and mm wave bands. Basic types of planar microwave integrated circuits (MICs). Hybrid MICs. Microstrip, coplanar, and slot line. Lumped elements in MICs, inductors, capacitors and resistors. Monolithic MICs. Microstrip resonators, slot resonators and dielectric resonators. Directional couplers in MIT. Power dividers and combiners. Filters in MIT. MICs for mm and sub-mm frequency bands. Technology of MICs. CAD systems for microwave integrated techniques, practical measurements.

Basic electrical parameters of microstrip line, synthesis, dispersion. Some modifications of microstrips.
