Paradoxes of the Contemporary Art Systems - summer
FaVU-3PARS-LAcad. year: 2011/2012
Since the half of the 19th century, the nature and characteristcs of art has been determined by a number of factors that we consider outside of the artistic sphere. However, as was the case with medieval, renaissance, or baroque art, institutional and economic factors strongly influence the understanding of an artist as an author (or auteur), of the characteristics of her/his work, and also its distribution. The subjects mainly deals with system phenomena which are usually coined as the "management system of art."
