The Studio of Doc. Ing. arch. Zdeněk Makovský. The subject of study are the organic spatial forms and the laws of their development. In studio work, the students analyse organic forms by drawing and plasticine modelling. Then, on the basis of knowledge gained, and using arbitrary technique, they make spatial objects. The tutorial is completed by the application of organic forms to architectural composition. The aim of the tutorial is to develop spatial imagination, sense of proportion and scale, and understanding of the geometry of organic forms. The Studio of Ing. arch. Aleš Navrátil. Study of figure as measure of space in architecture and space in general. Treatment of space by drawing and confirmation of its scale by depiction of a figure. Drawing of an abstract space and its connection with a figure. Getting deeper experience and knowledge of emotional and associative effects of colour on both the figure and the abstract space.
