Course detail
Art II - Colour
FA-VT2Acad. year: 2011/2012
The knowledge of theory of colours is based on principles that give the student the confidence that he is able to work with colours both in the field of displaying and of deliberately determining the colour shade of the objects. The knowledge and the practical skill make it possible to solve the problems of colour in architecture. These are the bases of teaching in the semester, in which the student gets the necessary knowledge and skills needed for his further professional activity. This is an indispensable experience, in contrast to the work with a computer which allows the modification of only four colours, whereas the material on the basis of pigments has a specific behaviour, and is also denoted as a coating composition with which the architect has to reckon and to cope. This orientation facilitates
to make a colour record of both the interior and exterior, and of the objects located therein.
