Creation of composition études as means of harmonising architectural space and the work's eloquent expression. In tutorials, the categories of architectural composition are analysed in context of space and architectural form as reflection of the time's philosophical ideas, emphasis being put on the specific features of the present time.

Deepening the ability to apply the knowledge of composition to architectural design.

Prerequisites

Knowledge of the basic and auxiliary categories of composition. Symmetry, rhythm, contrast, module, proportion, scale, light, colur, optical delusions and illusions...

Classification is conditioned by submission of five experimental designs of a digital model of selected basic categories of composition.

Aims

The seminar's objective is to analyse the categories of architectural composition, in relation with space and architectural form, in order to deepen the knowledge of the concept of a work of architecture.

Specification of controlled education, way of implementation and compensation for absences

Tutorials conducted in form of individual consultations. Digital modelling of composition situations, making use of the computer centre's classroom.
