Architectural Morphology

FA-ATVAcad. year: 2011/2012

Facultative subject for third year students, which will continue the cycles of lectures on history of architecture. In form of a seminar, the students will be made acquainted with the architectural members of the individual development stages of the history of architecture. By their own creative activity the students will acquire the knowledge of the laws of architectural morphology as a whole. The students will be able to make use of the deeper knowledge of the history of architecture, as source of inspiration, in their own creative activity.

Orientation in style periods, application of the gained knowlege to drawing and three-dimensional study of selected examples.

Prerequisites

Orientation in style periods, knowledge of elementary architectural vocabulary, capability of graphic expression.
