Original Abstract
By 2027, electricity distribution companies will have to install smart meters for all customers whose annual consumption exceeds 6 MWh. This means millions of smart meters in the Czech Republic alone. The implementation of smart meters in accordance with the Metering Decree shows the need to test cybersecurity due to several challenges of smart meters cyber security. The aim of this paper is to present the issue of smart meter testing from a cybersecurity perspective. At the same time, the paper will present possibilities of certifying smart meters for cybersecurity.
